Our company was founded in 2012 by Michael Steininger. The basis for today’s know-how is the many years of experience in the family business Steininger Metallbearbeitung, founded in 1975. This knowledge and passion for exclusive design is reflected in our lifestyle products.
247 stands for the consistent union of aesthetic ambition, technical precision and artisanal excellence. As an Austrian manufacturer with local production, 247 creates objects that bring design, material and function into perfect harmony: reduced in expression, uncompromising in quality.
Every piece — whether billiard table, table tennis table or training tool — is the result of meticulous handcraftsmanship, precise manufacturing and uncompromising quality control. Selected, long-lasting materials are processed with the greatest care and shaped into one-of-a-kind pieces that endure through their timelessness and exclusivity. Nothing is incidental. 247 sees itself as a pioneer of a new design culture: products that do not merely complement spaces, but define them. In close collaboration with architects, interior designers and clients worldwide, tailor-made solutions are created that make individuality visible and meet the highest expectations. These design objects go far beyond their function — as an expression of style, a commitment to quality and a manifesto of a clear philosophy: design products in perfection.
The design foundation of 247 was established in collaboration with the renowned Studio F. A. Porsche in Zell am See, Austria. For its first product, the 247 Billiard Table, 247 deliberately turned to this internationally recognised design studio to develop a clear and distinctive design language. The aim was to interpret the purist, precise and exclusive design philosophy of Porsche Design with absolute consistency and translate it into an independent product. The result is a reduced, timeless aesthetic that brings function and form into perfect balance — and continues to shape the design signature of 247 to this day.

The highly precise processing of metals is one of our core competencies. That is why the structure of our game tables is mainly made of aluminum and high-quality stainless steel. Due to the long experience in metalworking, maximum precision and processing quality can be guaranteed.
Unique Corian
Worldwide unique is the use of the high-end material Corian for the surface of the billiard table. The thermal deformation of Corian and the silky mate appearance create a dynamic and exquisite design aesthetic. In cooperation with the Corian manufacturer HASENKOPF in Mehring, Germany, we create design billiard tables, which are absolutely unique due to the materiality and its processing.
Genuine Leather
In addition to the design, the feel of a product is also an important feature to focus on. For this purpose, the dumbbell handles are covered with the finest genuine leather, which provides a pleasant, velvety-soft grip feeling. The ball pockets of the billiard table are also made of leather not only because of the beautiful appearance – it also ensures a soft, noise-absorbing sinking of the balls in the pockets.
